Taxi: We highly recommend you to take this option as it is the most convenient way to get from the airport to the residence hall or campus. When you enter the arrival hall, look for the sign for taxi. It is important to bring a Chinese address with you as most drivers don’t speak a word of English. Student Life in Shanghai has prepared following 2 address cards for the Residence Hall and NYU Shanghai Campus for you to show to the taxi driver. The trip usually costs approximately 120 - 150 RMB (19 - 24 USD). Remember to take a receipt before you get off, and there’s no tipping culture in China.
